These terms apply when you book a free trial, join Oak Tree Gymnastics or pay for classes. By booking, you agree to them. If you have any questions, email hello@oaktreegymnastics.com.
Free trial
- Each child can have one free trial class.
- You'll need to complete our registration and consent form before the trial, so we can look after your child safely.
- If you can't make your trial, please let us know so we can offer the place to someone else. You're welcome to rebook.
Joining
- After the trial, choose pay as you go, monthly or termly. See our fees.
- All gymnasts need British Gymnastics membership before their first paid class. You register and pay for this directly with British Gymnastics. It includes insurance cover while your child trains.
- Please keep your registration details up to date, especially medical information and emergency contacts.
Payments
- Pay as you go: paid when you book each class.
- Monthly: paid every month, starting from the date you join.
- Termly: paid every term, where a term is three months.
- Monthly and termly plans renew automatically and keep going until you cancel them. We'll take each payment using the details you gave when you joined.
- Payments are handled securely by Stripe.
- If we change our prices, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the change affects your plan.
- If a payment fails, we'll let you know. Your child may not be able to attend until it's sorted.
Cancelling
- You can cancel a monthly or termly plan at any time, online or by emailing us.
- Cancelling stops future payments. Your child can keep coming until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- We don't give refunds or credits for missed classes or part-used months or terms, except as set out below.
- Your 14-day right to cancel: when you first sign up for a plan online, you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund. If your child has already attended classes in that time, we'll deduct the value of the classes used.
Classes
- Classes are grouped by age and ability, and coaches may move a gymnast to a better-suited group.
- We may need to change the timetable occasionally. We'll give you as much notice as we can.
- If we cancel a class, we'll offer a make-up class, a credit, or a refund for that class.
- Please drop off and collect your child on time. Children must be collected by a parent, carer or another adult you've told us about.
Health & safety
- Gymnastics is a physical activity and, like any sport, carries some risk of injury. Our coaches teach skills progressively and safely.
- Please tell us before class if your child is unwell, injured, or has any change in their medical needs.
- Gymnasts must follow coaches' instructions, train barefoot, tie long hair back and remove jewellery.
Behaviour
Everyone at Oak Tree follows our codes of conduct. If a gymnast or parent's behaviour puts others at risk or repeatedly breaks the codes, we may suspend or end their membership. Any refund in that case will be for classes already paid for but not yet taken.
The legal bit
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
- We're not responsible for personal belongings brought to the gym.
- These terms don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
